Let’s meet the bartender!
“About me, I’m Italian and I live in Paris. I became a professional bartender when I had to decide whether to change careers or stay in the hotel industry. I decided to turn professional and in 3 years, I became head bartender of one of the most emblematic hotels in the world, the Plaza Athénée, after being the head of the bar at Marta in Paris, working with a 2-star chef Michelin and worked at La Maison du Caviar too.
“Today, I continue to find ways to improve myself, to learn something new every day, to seek new tastes and new ideas. My dream, of course, is to one day become one of the most influential bartenders in the world, but for now I’m very happy and proud of what I’ve achieved in such a short time!
“Finally, my favorite drink is the Espresso Martini, very creamy or just a good SOB (girly and simple taste I know haha).” –Emmanuel Moccia
What was the inspiration behind Jardin des Rêves?
“The name is Garden des Reves (garden of dreams) I was inspired by the garden we usually create during fashion week here at the hotel where I work and because Dom Pérignon is located in the Champagne region where it are some of the most beautiful gardens in France.
