It doesnt show the model on the selection screen. but the character does change. You should notice a mods folder in the minecraft folder.

Why does more player models no longer work? It is similar to hamachi. but doesnt have free static ip addresses available. meaning every time you start it. your friends would have to change their minecraft server address. The plugin is a translator. it allows players with the more player models mod see each others custom player models.

I have been trying to use an hd minecraft skin that i have made for more player models however more player models is not working (with the hd skins everything else is fine) i have been trying for 3 hrs straight and still no luck if anyone knows what is going on it would be great to know.
