Asian food startup OMNI says four of its plant-based products will soon be launching in a third of US Walmart stores and online. OMNI Potsticker and lunch will be available at 1,900 Walmart stores, while 1,300 stores will soon carry OMNI’s spring rolls and crab cakes.
“We are incredibly excited to expand and bring these delicious products to Walmart”
Made with nutritious and sustainable ingredients, the OMNI range features its signature non-GMO protein and includes:
A popular and unique canned pork alternative that can be enjoyed with ramen, musubi, bagels or sandwiches. Compared to conventional meatloaf, OMNI Luncheon contains less fat, sodium and cholesterol while being free of preservatives and nitrates.
Crab-style cake is made from a proprietary blend of non-GMO soy and rice protein, with a sweet and savory flavor that can be prepared in less than 5 minutes. Patties also provide a good source of omega-3 fatty acids without mercury, hormones, or trans fats.

Available for the first time in the United States, the new potstickers are filled with OMNI-style pork mince and can be enjoyed as an Asian appetizer, snack or side dish steamed, fried or baked.
Also launched in the United States, Spring Rolls feature a variety of vegetables and mushrooms such as carrots, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage and mung bean vermicelli. According to OMNI, its plant-based ground pork contains 97% less fat and 66% fewer calories than traditional ground pork.

Hong Kong-based OMNI has made several notable expansions in the United States in recent months, including partnering with Dot Foods, North America’s largest foodservice redistributor. The brand is also collaborating with Los Angeles-based ramen specialist Kenchan Ramen to offer OMNI Ground in Kenchan’s new plant-based bowls.
Expand the mission
“After successfully launching OMNI last year across the United States through retailers, online stores, restaurants, food events and festivals, we are incredibly excited to expand and offer these delicious products at Walmart,” said David Yeung, co-founder and CEO of Green Monday Holdings and OMNI.

He continued, “By providing our growing customer base with a healthy, flavorful and versatile plant-based meat alternative, they can make great food at home as we continue to deliver on our mission to build a multi-faceted global ecosystem of food of the future that helps fight climate change, food insecurity, public health crisis, planetary devastation and overconsumption of meat.
