While the Naples Botanical Garden was significantly impacted by Hurricane Ian, the garden will be fine with an upcoming reopening announcement. This is the result of the remarkable resilience and cleanup efforts of our staff, volunteers and community. We were able to begin these recovery efforts so quickly because of the early support provided to our team members and their families with the most urgent needs.
The Garden would like to formally thank the Collier Community Foundation for its generosity and staff support in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Through the Collier Comes Together Fund, the Collier Community Foundation has allocated funded housing for displaced staff members. This accommodation allowed them to undertake the important work of personal recovery and healing.
